Danielle is the 2008 First Place Laureate of the Sphinx Competition. Initially, nine semi-finalists competed for the grand prize in the Senior Division in Detroit, Michigan. For more information on the Sphinx Organization and the competition, view the Sphinx website at www.SphinxMusic.org. Some of the many prizes include a solo CD recording under the NAXOS label and solo performances with orchestras across the United States. Watch the final performance video on YouTube. | The Young Musicians Foundation congratulates violinist Danielle Nesmith for being named the Grand Prize Winner of the 2007 National Debut Competition.
